This is the moment which heralds a new beginning for digital India and digital Karnataka. The Karnataka State Government has launched public WiFi services in 11 gram Panchayat areas. So now the rural India will have a better access to digital India.
With the Union government’s high flying promises of digitalization of India, long dead and buried, now the Karnataka government has taken it upon itself to set up digital infrastructure. It is not by pushing the myth of “cashless economy” down people’s throats that change will come. But making visible, concrete advances in people’s lives will matter.
It is through timely changes, support and incentive for change that the dream of digitalization will reach fruition.
