Karnataka’s potential for driving investments grows like the ABVP’s potential for violence and intolerance, in leaps and bounds. Just when the state was touching down on another one of its performance high points, of being the most favored IT investment destination, the ABVP in Karnataka hit the headlines with a new performance high point, of raising yet another hollow protest on the grounds of intolerance!
And while the naysayers and detractors will carry on protesting, the state of Karnataka continues to make headlines with news of it accounting for nearly a fourth of the total investment of the IT sector during 2015-16.
Once again, Bengaluru has made us proud by contributing to over one third of the country’s $108 billion dollar IT exports last year. These investment laurels, leave behind Gujarat as the second ranker, making Bengaluru the de facto start-up capital of the country and Karnataka the top contender for investments.
