Karnataka now ranks third under the Make In India programme, according to the rankings of the Centre. The concept, which was originally mooted by the NDA, has seen a substantial realization by the Karnataka government. According to the data, Karnataka has realized 37 cases of Industrial Entrepreneurship Memorandums, generating Rs. 15, 581 crore from January 1, 2015 to March 31, 2016, which are key for the Make In India.
Start Up India was intended to build a strong eco-system for nurturing innovation and Startups in the country that will drive sustainable economic growth and generate large scale employment opportunities. Apart from aiming at economic growth, the start-ups aim at growing through innovation and design. The start-up ecosystem in Karnataka has shown fast growth, in various sectors including agriculture, manufacturing, social sector, healthcare and education.
Despite being called out by the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi on the MNREGA scheme, the Congress has not treated NDA porgrammes in a step-sisterly fashion. A government with real vision doesn’t discriminate between policies, but strives to implement any pro-people policy in the best manner possible. Karnataka is a shining example of that!
